Sign up via our mobile app myCrew (iOS | Android). Our events are free but their capacity is limited! Make sure to tap 'check in' in the app when you arrive to the event so we can record your attendance.
We have to keep a limit on numbers so sadly not - but please sign up to the waiting list (if there is one) and we will let you know if there are any late cancellations. We have to put a cap on our events for safety reasons. We recommend signing up to another future MR event.
No – Los Angeles Midnight Runners is totally free.
Please check our Facebook page or myCrew (iOS | Android) for the latest details but typically:
The speed of our group varies between 6:30 min/ miles to 9:30 min /miles. On our 10k boot camp workout stops are a perfect opportunity for slower runners to catch up with the faster ones but to enjoy them, you should be capable of running 10k (6 miles) in 60 mins. You should be comfortable in running 10k.
It varies but usually in a known LA location. Have a look at our Facebook page or myCrew (iOS | Android) for details.
Midnight Runners is organized by a group of volunteers, known as Crew Captains – you will recognize them by the C bands at events. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and none of the Crew are paid by Midnight Runners. We all have other jobs but are enthusiastic about keeping running inclusive and fun.
It varies from event to event, but it's always good running music! We also carry a bunch of Ultimate Ears Boom and Megaboom speakers as well as the PartyBag so LA can hear us ;-)
Each month we organise a special run on Friday / Saturday which is themed and followed by an after-run party! It is a lot of fun!
Sure. After the Midnight Run (typically around 11pm) we head to a bar for a party and to grab a few drinks. There is a DJ, dance floor and, like in any bar, a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Most people go as they are, but of course you can get changed. There are no showers, though.
